The DeKalb County Community Gardens aims to be a completely sustainable ecosystem. Our goal is to evaluate each of our three locations from a variety of perspectives including:
  • Cost per Square Foot
  • Revenue per Square Foot
  • Volunteer Engagement per Square Foot
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
The goal for this project is to help the DeKalb County Community Gardens evaluate their effectiveness as a sustainable organization. Activities include:
  • Evaluate financial performance
  • Cross-referencing financial performance with other key data
  • Breaking down performance on a per unit (or square foot) basis 
  • Assessing breakeven points that are helpful for leadership
Project Synopsis: Expected Results
The goal is to understand the business at a per unit (or square foot basis). Based on those outcomes, please help us by recommending ways to track and improve in the future.
